Correct storage helps protect peptide stability, purity and consistency throughout its intended research lifecycle.
Storage requirements may vary between products. Always follow the temperature stated on the product label and any product-specific documentation.
UNOPENED LYOPHILISED PEPTIDE
Refrigerated at 2–8°C
DURING SHORT-TERM TRANSPORT
Normal ambient transit temperature is generally acceptable
RECONSTITUTED RESEARCH MATERIAL
Refrigerated at 2–8°C unless otherwise stated
UNOPENED BACTERIOSTATIC WATER
Controlled room temperature at 20–25°C
BACTERIOSTATIC WATER AFTER FIRST PUNCTURE
Refrigerated at 2–8°C and discarded within 28 days
Protect all products from direct light, excessive heat, moisture and repeated temperature changes. Do not freeze unless the instructions for the specific product expressly permit it.
Place unopened lyophilised peptide vials in a refrigerator at 2–8°C as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
Keep the products:
in their original packaging;
protected from direct light;
in a dry and stable part of the refrigerator;
away from the refrigerator door;
away from the freezer compartment;
securely stored and inaccessible to children or unauthorised individuals.
Check that each vial is sealed and undamaged before placing it into storage.
Our peptides are transported in a sealed, dry, lyophilised form.
A short period at normal ambient temperature during delivery does not automatically indicate that an unopened lyophilised product has been compromised. Lyophilised material is generally less sensitive to short temperature changes than material held in solution.
After delivery, refrigerate the products promptly.
Store unopened lyophilised peptide vials at 2–8°C unless the product label states otherwise.
For best protection:
keep the vial sealed until required for authorised research;
minimise unnecessary removal from refrigeration;
protect it from light and humidity;
avoid repeated warming and cooling;
do not store it in direct contact with ice or cooling elements;
do not use it beyond the stated expiry or retest date.
When removing a vial from refrigeration for laboratory work, allow the sealed vial to approach room temperature before opening. This helps reduce the possibility of condensation entering the vial.
Reconstituted research material is generally less stable than the original lyophilised product.
Unless product-specific documentation states otherwise:
store it refrigerated at 2–8°C;
protect it from direct light;
minimise repeated warming and cooling;
avoid unnecessary agitation;
clearly record the reconstitution date;
maintain appropriate aseptic laboratory procedures;
do not freeze.
There is no universal storage period that applies to every reconstituted peptide. Stability depends on the substance, concentration, solvent, container, handling conditions and risk of contamination.
Always follow product-specific stability information and your laboratory’s validated procedures.
Store unopened Bacteriostatic Water at controlled room temperature between 20–25°C, protected from direct light.
After the first puncture:
mark the date on the vial;
store it refrigerated at 2–8°C;
keep the stopper clean and protected;
do not leave a needle inserted in the vial;
do not freeze;
discard the remaining solution after 28 days unless the product label specifies a different period.
Do not use the solution if:
the seal is damaged;
sterility may have been compromised;
the liquid appears cloudy or discoloured;
visible particles are present.
Leaving products in direct sunlight
Storing vials in a hot vehicle
Keeping vials in the refrigerator door
Allowing products to freeze accidentally
Repeatedly moving products between warm and cold conditions
Opening a cold vial before condensation has cleared
Using a damaged or unidentifiable vial
Ignoring the product label
Applying one storage period to every peptide
Yes. Unless the product label states otherwise, store unopened lyophilised peptide vials at 2–8°C, protected from light and moisture.
Do not use it. Keep the vial and packaging and contact shop@mrpeptide.eu with your order number, batch number and clear photographs.
